Occidental (Ox) is a punk-rock cocktail bar in Denver that has recently become known as a sports-haven for New York transplants. The design of the shirt for this project is meant to remind the wearer that they are a part of something special, and they can experience a sense of community while rooting for their home teams. The bar's motto, "We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war", a Bukowski quote, is written on one of the ceiling beams, adding a unique touch to the establishment.
Some other easter eggs include:
- Three tears and a sewn up heart dedicated people affiliated with Ox who have been lost over the years.
- Red & Blue border, the colors of the NY Giants & NY Rangers
- 201, the area code of New Jersey, where the owners are from.
